Where are you located?
All three of our clubs are located in Springfield, Illinois. We have locations on the North, West, and South ends of town, so no matter where you live, work, or play, we're never far away! One membership gets you access to all three clubs. Click here for full location details.
That's completely up to you. Because we firmly believe that fitness is a marathon and not a sprint, our basic prices are based upon a 12-month commitment. We understand that everyone has different needs, and so we give you the choice to get the same great FitClub experience on a month-to-month basis by paying a higher enrollment fee when you join.
How do I cancel?
We hope you never want to, but we've made canceling as easy as possible. Just email us at billing@fitclub.net or call any FitClub location and tell them you'd like to cancel. You'll receive a confirmation of your request and we'll follow up with you if there are any issues. Even if you signed up for a 12-month program, you can cancel early due to permanent relocation or documented medical issues that prevent you from using the club.
Is Personal Training Included?
No, it is not included in your membership. That said, every member has a personal Success Coach assigned to them to help them get started with a customized program and stay on track through monthly re-assessments for free. If you want the added benefits of working with a certified fitness professional from our award-winning team of trainers, there are many great options, including both Group and 1-on-1 training, but they do come at an extra cost.
Do you offer meal plans or nutritional services?
Yes, FitClub is proud to be the only health club in Springfield that has a full-time Registered Dietitian on staff! Lauren Parish, RD, LDN offers her services to FitClub members including complimentary education delivered live through FitClub Virtual as well as in-club events. For those looking for a complete nutrition solution, Lauren also offers customized meal plans, nutritional coaching, and one-on-one counseling services for an additional fee. Do you offer medical weight loss programs?
While we do not offer physician-supervised weight loss programs at this time, some FitClub programs may be eligible for HSA/FSA spending with the proper physician referral. If you have an HSA or FSA and would like to see if one of our programs could potentially qualify, our Success Coaches would love to assist you. Any qualifying programs are available to members only, so the first step is to join and schedule your initial meeting with your Success Coach.
Do you have family membership rates?
Yes, we do. We offer couple memberships online for any two adults interested in joining together who are married or living together.
Once a member, any FitClub member may sponsor a qualifying family member at a reduced rate. If you would like to add or remove a spouse or children to your membership, this can be done at any FitClub location. Family pricing is as follows:
Spouse or Dependent between 18 and 24 years old: $29/mo
Dependents under 18: $19/mo
Do you charge an annual fee?
Yes, FitClub collects an annual club enhancement fee from every membership account, which goes directly to club upgrades and membership enhancements each year. These dollars do not fund ongoing maintenance or operations, and are in place to ensure that your FitClub experience remains among the best in the industry for years to come. Enhancement fees are collected per account (so a couple or family membership is only pays one fee per year). Annual fee typically occurs 60 days after your join date and annually thereafter.
Are reservations required?
Reservations are required for some services/resources including group fitness classes, personal training, group personal training, nutritional counseling, child care, lap lane usage, and therapy pool usage. Reservations for any service can be made at the Front Desk of any FitClub location, and all group fitness classes and pool usage can also be reserved through FitClub Virtual.
When do you offer classes?
Our class schedules are very robust, and vary by location and class type. Full schedules can be accessed and reservations can be made in our FitClub Virtual portal or Mobile App. Non-members can also view current schedules on our website (www.fitclub.net) under the "Schedules" heading.
